Dr. Guccione is the Chief Computing Officer 3DT Holdings. He previously served as Professor of Surgery at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He has substantial expertise in simulations of medical devices for the heart with over 25 years of experience in cardiac mechanics. He has over 150 publications in cardiac mechanics with numerous publications on simulations of therapeutic devices for the heart including polymer injections, assist devices, mitral and tricuspid clips, etc. Dr. Guccione is a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE), recipient of Richard Skalak Best Paper Award of the ASME bioengineering division, NIH Study Section Reviewer, and recipient of NSRA National Service Research Award, NIH
