Mission


To advance translation of diagnostics and therapeutics through basic and applied research for the improvement of human health.

Vision


Our vision is to bring together physical and life science researchers, clinicians, engineers, and computational scientists to address the significant health care challenges of vascular disease, heart failure, gastrointestinal, and metabolic (including hypertension and diabetes) disorders through a multi-scale understanding of organ systems.

Digestive Disease Week (DDW) May 2024


Calmi2 was exhibited at the annual Digestive Disease Week (DDW) in Washington, DC. The institute was among 200 other exhibitors at the conference with more than 12 000 attendees. Interesting discussions about the services we offer took place at the booth.

Delegation from the National Health Innovation Center (NHIC) From Singapore Visit Our Calmi2  Office


In May 2024. Visit by a delegation from the National Health Innovation Center (NHIC) in Singapore. The Singaporean delegation was led by Director Pauline Erica Tay. NHIC is a nationally appointed program office that works with Public Health Institutions across Singapore to identify and commercialize promising clinical innovations. The talks were fruitful, and areas for potential collaboration were discussed. The visitors were impressed by the speed Calmi2 moves projects forward, especially on device developments, and project approvals by the IACUC and IRB.

Bridge2AI April 2024 Open House


The FAIR Data Innovations Hub is one of the organizations involved under the Bridge2AI under the SalutoGenesis Grand Challenge. We will be showcasing our brand new platform, FAIRhub at the Bridge2AI Open House. FAIRhub is destined to be your new home for AI-ready clinical data. We will be discussing the data we have collected so far and how it will be available to other researchers.

Bio-IT World Conference & Expo 2024


We are delighted to attend the Bio-IT World Conference & Expo for the first time where Bhavesh Patel has been invited to give a talk as part of the FAIR Data Symposium. The talk, titled Implementing FAIR Biomedical Research Software will discuss the importance of making research software FAIR and how this can be practically achieved.
