BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Dabiri is an experienced scientist and engineer with an emphasis on thermal sciences. He has over 50 years of experience in solving technical problems and project management. His expertise includes bioengineering, surface physics, energy systems, accelerator systems, and fusion engineering, among others. He has over 90 publications and 20 patents in various high-technology fields. He was Chief Scientist/Director of Engineering at SAIC, a 40,000-employee research consulting company. He received the highest-ranking technical achievement award titled” Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Technical Innovation”. He was a member of the Executive Science and Technology Council (ESTC) at SAIC. ESTC was dedicated to recognizing outstanding achievements in science and technology. He oversaw TQM training for about 400 engineers and scientists. He was responsible for the projects technical review. He made certain that quality was designed into the products and projects. His areas of interest in biotechnology are in diagnostics and therapeutics.
