BIOGRAPHY

Karlee graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Animal Science with a focus in Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Prior to entering the world of research, Karlee spent over 5 years working as a Veterinary Technician in the surgical and emergency department at a small animal hospital. Karlee joined the Calmi2 team in March 2022 as an Animal Research Technician and has since adopted the role as the facility’s IACUC Coordinator where she oversees and manages all related operational activities of the IACUC. She has received numerous certificates through the AALAS Learning Library and received her RALAT certificate in December 2022.
