Biography

She began as a research assistant in Wells Center of Pediatric at Indiana University School of Medicine and was recruited as a Research Technician in Department of Biology at Indiana University Purdue University, Indianapolis. Before joining CalMI2, she worked as a Research Technician in Nephology Department at Indiana University School of Medicine. She has broad expertise in laboratory techniques in immunology, cellular and molecular biology, and histology, including but not limited to DNA/RNA extraction, PCR/RT-PCR, gene transfection, SDS-PAGE electrophoresis, western blot, ChIP, ELISA, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence microscopy, and skills in small animal handling. She is the co-author of thirteen peer-reviewed publications, including Nature Immunology, Blood, Journal of Immunology, American Journal of Physiology Renal Physiology, and Cancer Immunology.
