Dr. Aashish Ahuja has a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical engineering from UC Berkeley. Currently he is involved in developing computational and experimental models and discovering therapy for diseases linked to aorta. Prior he worked with a diverse team of engineers and architects in designing and analyzing the structural and thermal models of facade systems for buildings. Before pursuing PhD, he built dynamic models for GE-Aviation and performed finite element analysis on hip prosthesis structures as part of his undergraduate thesis. Aashish has received numerous graduate and undergraduate fellowships and has also authored four publications. He plans to work in a competitive environment where he is expected to make quick decisions on solving engineering problems related to design and manufacturing.
