Dr. Dabiri is an experienced thermal scientist with emphasis on thermodynamics, and heat transfer. He has over 48 years of experience in high technology fields and project management. His expertise includes energy systems, fusion engineering, accelerator systems, surface physics, Terahertz technology for medical applications.

He was Chief Scientist/Director of Engineering at SAIC (more than 40,000 employees, research and consulting company before it split into Liedos and SAIC) before he retired. He has over 80 publications in the areas of fusion technology, accelerator technology, energy systems, surface physics. He has 15 patents, in the areas of biomedical technology and energy systems.
